Monika Celebrate Several Staff Milestones
Monika, the experts in connecting teams and equipment, has more to celebrate this year than just their 30th anniversary. Several members of the Monika team have celebrated career milestones this year, including promotions and long service awards.
David Parry, who joined the company in 2011 as a field service engineer has recently been promoted to senior engineer, while Kate Aston, who joined Monika in 2018 as a sales consultant has just been appointed Senior Sales Consultant, and is excited to embrace her new job role;
“I’m thrilled to have been made Senior Sales Consultant, it’s great to have my hard work recognised and rewarded. I’m excited about the new responsibilities, and the fact that I’ll have the opportunity to influence the sales team going forward.”
Meanwhile, UK Director of Sales, Rag Hulait, and Technical Manager, Simon Wood both celebrated long service awards for their commitment to Monika, as Rag commented;
“I’ve been at Monika for 25 years now, and Simon has been here even longer than I have – since the company was first started really! I think that’s a great testament to what a fantastic place it is to work. The whole team are incredibly supportive and driven, and it really is just a pleasure to come into work each day.”
Rag originally joined Monika as a marketing coordinator back in 1997, before progressing to senior sales consultant in 2002, and then UK Director of Sales in 2017. Simon initially started as a technical assistant, fresh out of university, then worked his way up to Technical Manager.
